Today is the Day! Part 2 (but really it's part one)

12 years ago today. Spencer Sisson was born. From the get go he was funny and awesome and did things at his own pace. Nothing has changes and I love him for it!
Look..... Ok, the truth is he was born when I was still shooting film. There are 3 photo albums filled with all Spencer all the time. Him in the bath, him just sitting, him eating, Spencer, Spencer, Spencer. But I have no scanner so you'll have to see pictures from the few years instead.

I love this picture

Kentucky He had no idea I took this picture.
I really am the luckiest person.
Happy Birthday Spencer thank you for choosing me to be your mother.
I love you!

Today is the day! (Part 1)

Eight years ago today.
Gibson Reed Sisson was born!
He is one of the two best things Dave and I have ever done.
I personally don't think I can top it.
Tell me I didn't give birth to Buddy Lee.

Those are stunt parents in the backround.
Happy Birthday Buddha!
Thank your soul for choosing us!
I love you.

Pushing my boundries

I am not usually one for the whole studio production shots.
I leave that to the likes of Lisa Predko who is the master. (She loves it when I call her out like this.)
Enjoying more to Run and Gun.... Show up see what I have to work with and make it work.
Sometimes though you just have to push what you know. How else do you get better?
As promised here are a couple more shots from my VivaVintage and Antja shoot.

I want to say thank you to my dear friends
Amy Mayberry of Viva Vintage(Stylist)
Antje Kastner of Tigerlilie Salon (Hair and Make-Up)

Over the next couple of days I plan on posting more images from this two day shoot so stay tuned.
