This is work from my perfect strangers project. One frame, and I wasn't happy with the one frame. I was disappointed with myself. I was so excited and nervous when I shot this that I didn't take the time I should have it's dark. Not

what I had visualized.

 Now after some time, the portrait and I have made friends. It's not perfect but it's mine.

This was his land, I felt it told a story about him as well.

My Home is of the Sea

This isn't actually my home, but reminded me of the lake I lived on as a kid.
This lake can be found in Vermont.

In an attempt to escape the snow, myself and a friend headed WEST and nott just any west.

To Palm Springs to be exact.

We stayed at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club

To say I was inspired by my stay could be an understatement.

New project. All film.

Believe it or not. I am a shy person. I can fake it well.

This project is about connecting to other people.

 I ASK them if I can photograph them. I shoot one frame of film then

I have to give them some of my time. Connect with them.

I also feel like I shoot a lot. Why can't I try to take my time and get the shot in one?

I've got 12 images on a roll of 120. I give myself one shot at each person.
