ART woMAN, ART!

Once again Time Out asked me to shoot some awesome ladies.
I of course said.... "YES!" I had the great pleasure of meeting and chatting with
Her space was spare and the light was amazing.... Much like her work.

Next I photographed Maria Gaspar, again I felt so lucky to meet her
Her space and little bits of ideas everywhere.
She also had the BEST red shoes... (not shown)

Thank you both for opening your studios and spending a little time with my camera and I

I make HOUSE CALLS!

No, really I do! See!
Time Out  made me do it! I'm so happy to oblige.

Thank you for the empanadas!

Speaker was really the star of the show.
Luckily I brought cat wranglers with me!

Thank you Marc DeMoss for opening your home to me.
Thanks Meis van der Rohe for the inspiration

Off the Scales

My cool factor is now off the scales. According to the Comic Book readers in my home.
I got to hang out with Art Baltazar the creator of many comic book favorites in my house hold.
Thanks once again Time Out

Just sayin', this is only a TINY portion of action figures he's collected and or customized over the years.

Gibson sat here and explained these cast of characters to me while I am posting this. See cool factor!
This is where the magic happens.

This is the magic!

Back in Time

A couple of months ago I photographed the Wonderful Blessing sisters for Time Out Chicago
The talented women were such a joy to work with.
Anna having JUST had a baby not very long before this shoot.
These three sisters (Sarah and Anna being featured here)
are very talented, the simplicity is really very complicated.
BBB Craft check it out!

This is Anna's largest project to date.

No Running

Time Out Chicago has a kids magazine! Did you know this?
They do! I did a couple of shoots for the latest issue and both
were a blast. This one was a favorite, a whole swim team
ranging from 2nd graders to Jr. high.
Putting water guns and me through the paces.
Check out the story... HERE

A little Time Out is never a bad thing.

I love my job!
Time Out Chicago asked me to take some pictures
of Tim Mazurek and his home. Tim runs this delightful blog called.
(I made the mac and cheese the other night. AWESOME!!)
Bryan and Tim live in this perfectly spotless
condo that had so many nice touches.
I could have spent many more hours photographingAdd Image
their home. Oh, and eating Tim's shortbread cookies.

To see the rest of the story check out.
You can also pick up the latest Time Out Chicago and a shop near you.
Well near you if you live in the Chicagoland area.
